The wait continues

Want to hear something crazy? I left on a pass to go to IKEA. Cause that's what normal people do who have been called for transplant, right??
Nothing's happening, it's still supposed to be tomorrow. I had to get my mind off the wait...although please, that didn't work. But it sure was fun!

Who doesn't love a little IKEA while waiting for some new blowers?

I'm still kinda in disbelief. Last night I was so damn crazy. Laughing and talking at warp speed. Could barely put together a sentence, let alone a text.

I didn't shed one single tear until I checked my Facebook and I saw the love and support. I'm so lucky. Aw shucks and stuff.

Is this what an athlete feels like before the big game? I'm ready to rumble. I wore my red kicks and everything.

Today is Andrews birthday (Brad's youngest) and also the day of Brad's run for Liam.

Is that not a sign? Come on. Crazy right?

I really feel like this is it. I try not to get my hopes up too high, in case the lungs turn out to be crusty...but my emotions are not that easily contained. They just whip out and roll around all over the place, knocking people over and leaving their indent.

Waiting is hard, but I love secrets and this is a bit like a secret. Only time will tell if the blowers are good enough to take up residence in the Squeegee.

I promise to be a good landlord, host, partner, etc. I will feed them lots and lots of fresh air, along with crazy stories about their predecessor.

I'm going to go wait some more and visit with the Hamiltons. Nothing like a good kicking arse at games to keep the momentum going. Bonnie needs to go get rest (I insist she be rested for waiting through the surgery tomorrow).

The g-man is in good hands between Hilda and Bonnie. Poor guy looked so freaked out when I got THE CALL last night. Likely thinks his mom is nuts.

Join the club my furry boy.

Come on guys...bring on the chainsaw and duct tape.
