I am such a happy homosapien. I feel like dancing.

Hold on...

K, just did a happy dance.

Why,  you ask?

That awful, disgusting, cruel (yet annoyingly necessary) drug prednisone has been lowered (my dose that is).

I'm looking less and less like this:

Prednisone is a steroid and is part of my anti-rejection regime. I'm on the sucker for life. It's best known for creating the "moon face", which is really hawt.

It also takes your appetite from 0-60. Suddenly, I have a love affair with food; as discussed in a past blog. Cheesies anyone??

One has to be careful post-transplant. Pre-transplant I was malnourished; resembling a broomstick with hair. I struggled to gain and had minimal interest in food.

Since the new chunkers were installed, I've gained 18 lbs and have discovered a love for meal time. I am proud to say I am no longer malnourished looking and will likely not blow over in a windstorm.

However, I am still made of sugar and will melt in the rain.

  1. Hahahahahaha I have never laughed so much in all my life. Chipmunk cheeks I know that look!

  2. This is not Brad but nice try Pam :)

  3. Hi , Jess & Brad HAPPY CANADA DAY . If your a broom stick with hair so am I . Happy dance to hear your doing soooo well . Love Always and Forever Aunt Heather xo xo
